Site Outage planned for 2004-04-28 midday NZST

In order to upgrade from a beta release of the Zope platform, this site will be down tomorrow, midday, NZST for approximately two hours.

This upgrade will move us from Zope-2.7.0-b1 running on python-2.2.3 to Zope-2.7.0 on python 2.3.3. This should alleviate some minor functional problems with the current Zope install, and possibly alleviate some performance issues at the same time. No user data should be affected, and all of the functionality should be the same from an end-user perspective.

The upgrade may run longer than two hours if any events occur that are beyond the control of the webmaster.
